What is
the difference between the ninth and the Tenth precepts.
Actually,
The seventh of the eighth precepts can be divided into two parts.
The first part is to abstain from dancing, singing music and unseemly
show from wearing garlands smartening with scents, and embellishment
with unguents.
When it becomes the tenth precept devided into two parts as follows:
The initial part ́ abstain from dancing, singing, music and unseemly
shows is the first of ten precepts. The final part ́abstain from
wearing garlands, smarteming with scents and embellishment with
unguents ́ is the eigth of ten precepts.
The eigth of eigth precepts ́ abstain from the use of high and
large luxurious couches ́ becomes the ninth of ten precepts.
